Course Taught By Orin James

THANK YOU FOR YOUR INTEREST IN MY COURSE!

Welcome Life Long Learners! I am delighted that you are participating in my course. I am looking forward to getting to know you all and being part of this adventure with you. The works of ancient playwrights such as Sophocles, Euripides and Aeschylus have seen incarnations throughout various time periods. The structure, and most importantly the themes remain compelling and intriguing. The themes and inner human conflicts presented in their plays puts on full display the conflicts that remain within humans on an individual and societal level. Throughout this course, we will explore several popular plays, their core themes and theoretical approaches to analyzing them.
